iPod Touch firmware 1.1.4 has now been released. I would highly recommend upgrading to this firmware if you own an iPod Touch. Here's why.
Firstly, Audio quality is improved! Yes, you will notice a difference in your music.
Secondly, there are a lot of bug fixes.
And last, but not least, this version prepares you for the SDK applications. Apple modified a lot of files in preperation of the SDK (iPod Touch Software Development Kit) launch. This will allow developers to create applications for the iPod Touch.

I use flytunes on my ipod touch which lets me listen to and save radio. It's free & I didn't have to jailbreak my phone to use it. You can get an account by going to their website at www.flytunes.fm.

You need to jailbreak the device. Download and run ZiPhone. Then use the installer app to pull in new applications
